Our Process

From short-term recovery, personal care assistance, companionship or respite care to 24/7 homecare service, Gladden Home Care makes the process easy for you. Here are the simple steps to get started:

  1. Call us at 630.310.9320 to schedule a FREE assessment and consultation.
  2. The Assessment/consultation includes:
    1. Assessment of the client’s physical and functional limitations
    2. Review our services, protections, and price structure
    3. Inform client(s) of their rights and discuss rights/responsibilities of the agency
    4. Home safety and personal safety evaluation
    5. Developing a comprehensive “Plan of Care” with participation by client and family members
    6. Establish a workable schedule to properly facilitate the care
  3. Sign the contract:
    With Gladden Home Care, you only pay for the service you receive. You are not contracted for any specific length of service time and are able to cancel service with just one (1) day notice when you no longer need care . We can also briefly suspend care, if let’s say, a family member is available to help or a client has a short stay in the hospital, until you ask us to resume service.
  4. Interview caregivers
  5. Establish a date for care to begin
  6. Care begins:
    A representative from Gladden Home Care will briefly accompany the caregiver on their first day of service. We will orient the caregiver to the household, their responsibilities and any special instructions, and establish an agreed upon emergency preparedness plan with the family and client.
